Laime’s Latest Release: ‘Where Dem Dey Remix’ Packs A Punch

Emerging artist Onisolaime Bennibor, known by his stage name Laime, takes his musical cues from Afrobeats, Highlife, R&B, and Hip-Hop, shaping his distinct Afro-fusion sound.

Laime’s track “Where Dem Dey,” unveiled earlier this year, featured a discernible sound and atmosphere that differed from the majority of his earlier releases.

When talking about the new single, the Lagos-based artist described it as “aggressive”, “dark” and “braggadocios”, with a great beat to compliment it.”

Laime has released a remix of his “Where Dem Dey Remix.” The new version features Psycho YP and Dan Dizzy in addition to Odumodu Blvck, adding even more firepower to the track that has already proven to be Laime’s most successful single to date.

Six months after its initial launch, the song has garnered more than 1 million Spotify streams, highlighting its consistent growth.

The remix’s release also follows Laime’s announcement of a forthcoming Naughty by Nature EP which drops on the 3rd of November.
